This recording features items from the Evesham Journal of the 3rd and 10th November and includes Family Announcements, What's On section plus another interesting sports report from Tony Perfect where greyhounds feature.

Good news reported includes the scrapping of the idea to close railway ticket offices, a successful medieval banquet and entertainment organised by the Battle of Evesham group, and the saving of part of Evesham's former abbey wall. Police successes include an Evesham drugs gang being jailed for 21 years; a father jailed for his part in a burglary; arrests following thefts and also a disturbance, and a drugs dealer being jailed for seven years.

Residents in Broadway and Willersey protest against the erection of broadband poles and repairs are announced for the Broadway heritage line. Croome Court is hosting a winter bird sculpture trail.

This edition also includes a poem by Isaac Rosenberg who was a doctor in the First World War and died in April 1918, as this was the closest edition of the Talking Newspaper to Remembrance Sunday.

The editor also describes a local walk which didn't quite go according to plan.
